The Memorial Health Discovery Center provides comprehensive programs and education from prevention and detection to treatment and rehabilitation services for patients, their families and the community.  It is the central access point for education, integrating and supporting complementary therapies as well as traditional medicine.

Objectives:

  1. To be a conduit for individuals and families seeking information, referrals and resources for health and wellness.
  2. To provide direction and support.
  3. To bridge inpatient and outpatient care to deliver high quality service.
  4. To educate, facilitate and maintain quality of life for those experiencing long-term illness.

The Memorial Health Discovery Center offers free consultations with a registered nurse on health and medical topics.  Resources such as internet searches, books, videos and brochures are available.  You may gather information on your own or a staff member can help you.  Most importantly, our nurses will take the time to explain the information so you'll be better prepared to follow-up with your doctor.
