The Memorial Masjid
The Memorial Masjid ("a place of prayers"), located near the Memorial Interfaith Chapel, was established in 2010 as a place for members of the Muslim community to pray, meditate and seek spiritual strength. In addition to serving as a place for Muslims to connect with the symbols of their faith, the mosque welcomes persons of other faiths to pray there as well, and offers opportunity to view educational sources about Islam or to read the Quran.
Memorial Masjid Schedule
Prayer services are offered on the last Friday of each month at 1:45 p.m., usually led by an Arabic Studies scholar from Notre Dame.
You may direct questions about the Memorial Masjid to the Reverend Barbara Wilson, Spiritual Care Coordinator, at 574-647-6990.
